Clay for JPSB
Students and Teachers First.
Officially qualified for Jackson Parish School Board, District 7 — ready to put classrooms and the people in them at the center of every decision.
District 7 · Jackson Parish
Students and Teachers First.
I’m Clay, and I’m running to represent District 7 on the Jackson Parish School Board. “Students and Teachers First” isn’t just a tagline for the trail — it’s the filter I’ll use on every vote, budget, and policy question.
Qualifying is the first step. Now the work is listening to families, backing educators, and making steady, practical decisions that keep our schools strong for every child in our parish.
Pre-K through 12
Every grade. One parish. Continuity that counts.
School board decisions stretch from first footsteps in Pre-K to walking across a high school stage. I’ll keep the whole path in view — not just one building or one year.
-
Pre-K & K
A strong start — safe rooms, early literacy, and teachers who set the tone for everything that follows.
-
Elementary
Confidence in reading, writing, and math — with families and educators pulling in the same direction.
-
Junior High
Support through the middle years: belonging, clear expectations, and room to grow into responsibility.
-
High School
Pathways to graduation, work, and college — so District 7 students leave ready for what’s next.
What I’ll work for
Clear priorities for District 7
-
Students and teachers first
Classrooms come before bureaucracy. Tools, respect, and stability for educators — so students can learn and thrive.
-
Steward resources wisely
Treat public dollars with care. Transparent budgets and practical spending that serve kids, not bureaucracy.
-
Partner with families
Keep parents and guardians informed and heard. Strong schools grow from trust between home and campus.
